OK, well maybe not the greatest iPhone app ever but Isnt it fantastic! I have to admit, it is a little on the expensive side at AU$12.99, and to be perfectly honest I have a rule that I never spend more that AU$2.99 on an app, but for designers this app is worth a million bucks.

YES YES YES, it can be done. Orgasmic no, cheap yes! I created these invitations for under $1.

BACKGROUND:

Background vector came from Design Fruit. Just ungroup in illustrator and then change colour to the light green: #a3c813. I printed this background on a borderless A4 sheet of paper, then divided and cut into three equal pieces.
COLOURS:

Light green: #a3c813
Dark green: #768f1d
Brown: #603814
FONTS:
Pea Missy Cursive: Available here
Goudy Oldstyle Std
BRUSHES:
BIRDS, TREE BRANCH: brushes are available from here Design Shoot.
STALKS: Vector style stalk Brushes (shown in brown behind green bird in lower right hand corner): From Mels Brushes
HEARTS: I am unsure where they came from but if you search for “hearts” over at DeviantART under Resources & Stock Images> Application Resources> Photoshop Brushes you should be able to find something similar.
PAPER:
The paper was from Amazing Paper. And they are just that, AMAZING! I ordered on a Wednesday and my order was here on Friday morning. Now that’s service!

BRUSHES:
Bird & tree branch brushes are available from here Design Shoot.
COLOURS:
The light green is #a3c813. The dark green is #768f1d
BAGS:
The bags I was able to get from eBay for less than 5c each. Just do a search for “bags” under “Jewellery > Jewellery Boxes, Supplies” and there will be a huge amount of styles in a ginormous big sticky lollypop vomit of colours.
PAPER:
Paper tags I cut out my self. The paper was from Amazing Paper. And they are just that, AMAZING! I ordered on a Wednesday and my order was here on Friday morning. Now that’s service!
CONFECTIONERY:
The sugared almonds were from Tom’s Confectionery Warehouse here in Brisbane, but they deliver Australia wide. Again, I placed an order and it was delivered the next day.
